Share of voice

The share of total visibility on a set of keywords held by each app — who owns the searches you care about.

What is Share of voice?

Share of voice compares how visible each app is across the same keywords. Each app’s rankings are turned into a visibility score, and its share of the combined total is its share of voice.

Why it matters for ASO

Single keyword comparisons can mislead. Share of voice shows which competitor really dominates your searches, and whether you’re gaining or losing ground overall.

How to improve it

  1. Track your main keywords and 3–5 search competitors.
  2. Compare share of voice per country.
  3. Study the leader’s listing where they outrank you.
  4. Evaluate their keyword gaps as new targets.

How to measure it

In ASODrift, the Competitors tab shows share of voice on your tracked keywords per country.
