We help small app makers get found on Google Play.
ASODrift is a small, independent company from Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu, India. We build honest, affordable tools for indie Android developers · starting with the one we needed ourselves: knowing where our apps rank, every day.
- The problem
Four apps on Google Play, and ranking drops kept showing up weeks late, in the install graph.
- The gap
Play Console reports search terms, not positions. The tools that track positions were priced in dollars for teams.
- The product
Searches Google Play for every keyword you care about, in every country, every day, and tells you when something moves.
- 2026
The AI app flood made rankings move more than ever. ASODrift opened to every Play developer, with AI listing ideas on top.
Building apps got easy. Getting found didn't.
In 2026 the number of new apps on Google Play shot up, independent trackers count around two thousand a day, as AI tools made building faster than ever. Downloads didn't grow at the same pace. For an indie developer that means more competitors on every keyword, and rankings that change whether you touch your listing or not.
Search is still how most people find a new app. But Play Console only tells you which searches brought installs, not where you appeared. By the time the install graph dips, the ranking slipped days ago.
ASODrift closes that gap: exact positions, every night, an email the morning something moves, and ideas for what to change next.

- Google Play, done properly
- We focus on one store. Every feature starts from your real Google Play rankings, and we say no to anything that would make the core worse.
- Never fake a number
- If a check fails, you see a gap marked "delayed", not an estimate dressed up as data. Our reliability is public on the status page.
- Price for the people who need it
- Rank tracking shouldn’t cost more than the app earns. There’s a free plan, and paid plans are priced for indie developers, not enterprise budgets.
- Read-only, always
- We never ask for Play Console access and never touch your listing. We read what any Play Store visitor can see.
- AI as an assistant, not an autopilot
- AI listing ideas are suggestions grounded in your data. Nothing is ever applied to your listing automatically.
- Answer every email
