Key takeaways
- 01Applyra: App Store and Google Play, $9.99/month for unlimited apps, keywords and competitors under a fair-use policy, plus an API and an MCP server.
- 02ASODrift: Google Play only, from $12/month, with next-morning drop alerts, competitor teardowns, a weekly AI visibility check and branded agency reports.
- 03If price per keyword across both stores is what matters most, Applyra is hard to beat. If you’re on Google Play and want to know why rankings move and what to do, ASODrift goes further.
Disclosure: ASODrift is our product. Every fact about the other tool below comes from its own website on 14 October 2026, linked at the end. Prices change, so check before you buy, and where the other tool is the better fit, we say so.

Where Applyra is the better choice
- You publish on the App Store too.
- You want to track a very large number of keywords for the lowest price.
- You want to pull your data into your own tools or AI assistant through an API or MCP server.
Where ASODrift is the better choice
- You want to hear about a drop the next morning, by email or in Slack or Discord, instead of checking a dashboard.
- You want each competitor jump explained: what they changed on their listing, and what you could change in response.
- You care whether AI assistants recommend your app, now that Gemini can send people straight to a Play listing.
- You want ranks checked more than once a day for your most important keywords (Premium and Gold).
- You manage client apps and need a branded monthly PDF report sent automatically.
A note on “unlimited”
Every keyword in every country is a live search on Google Play, every day. Unlimited plans work by applying a fair-use policy, which Applyra states on its pricing page. ASODrift publishes fixed limits per plan instead, so you know exactly what you get and the checks stay reliable as we grow.
Is Applyra cheaper than ASODrift?+
Yes for raw keyword volume: Applyra’s single paid plan is $9.99/month with unlimited keywords under fair use, while ASODrift’s paid plans start at $12/month for 50 keywords (14 October 2026).
Which is better for Google Play only?+
If you only publish on Google Play and want alerts, explanations of competitor moves and AI visibility checks, ASODrift. If you mainly want to track many keywords cheaply, Applyra.
Does ASODrift have an API?+
Not yet. It’s on the roadmap. Today you can export reports as PDF or CSV and get alerts in Slack or Discord.
